Don't get too close

Some mornings, especially in winter, my skin feels so dry that the thought of a shower makes me itch all over. So, instead of a shower, I wash my hair in the sink and use a rag under my arms. This seems to work just fine and people in my office look at me as if I had fully showered. It is a deception, but a harmless one, I think.

I don't think I can do this. FOUR blogs to keep up on? We definitely will have to quit our jobs just to stay up on them all.

I would like to welcome you to Blogworld and at the same time thank you for reading Shilohman and for linking me on your site. You are really too kind.

As Cardinal of the Church of the Smoking Christian, te absolvo. You should feel no guilt. You are not responsible for what they think. You deceive nobody. They only deceive themselves. Something like we are doing by writing these blogs.

Yes, the shower is a deception thing....I don't know if it is really deception...I just choose not to talk about it,...I don't have to wash my hair daily, and I LOVE to take a bath in the evening...so if I have had an uneventful nite, (ie I did not run a marathon or something) I just wash my face...comb my hair, and my hygiene is , well, in a word, pretty good. Come on let's face it, we shower too much in this country, don't we?
